These films are designed for auto and lighter films are specifically designed for buildings.  The best part about these films is that even though they may be very light they reject a lot of heat.  The laminate when installed on window panes controls UV, Visible light & NIR Radiations from solar electromagnetic spectrum passing through the window pan.
